Dan Skuta - How Hunger Affects Learning in Children

Former Jacksonville Jaguars and NFLplayer Dan Skuta shares that children should have access to healthy and nutritious food.

Children who are at risk of hunger, and who are experiencing hunger, can exhibit slow development—particularly in their ability to learn.

They are more likely to have difficulty keeping up in school, something that may possibly hold them back. Hunger remains an existing concern, and everybody should take steps to be better informed.
