Former Jacksonville Jaguars Linebacker Dan Skuta is making the
most of retirement – dividing his time between making investments in businesses
and the local community, and pursuing an array of personal interests.
An avid
outdoorsman and sportsman, Skuta devotes a good part of his time to running his
700-acre ranch, fishing, hunting and even four-wheeling.
Another activity that has captured Dan Skuta’s interest is that
of photography – a hobby that many enjoy but that few really find the time to
master.
For those new to photography – or who could use a few tips for taking
their hobby to the next level – consider:
- Start
cheap. Taking nice pictures is just as possible with inexpensive equipment
as it is with a high-dollar camera. And as you take more photos, you’re more
likely to know what you’ll need to buy when it’s time to upgrade.
- Buy a
tripod. It may seem like an outdated idea, but an inexpensive tripod can
remove the unsteadiness of shaky hands while providing the satisfaction of
clearer, more beautiful shots.
- Always keep your camera with you. You never know when that perfect photo opportunity will present itself.
